Last Sunday I drove into Dusseldorf to meet Uli for a few drinks. As we walked along the waterfront we past the old bar that he played piano in for 6 years when he was much younger.

The place is closed now and the building has sat empty for years which is amazing as it's prime land right on the waterfront. This is Uli at the front of the entrance to the old place. According to Uli it was always full and a fun place to hang out. This was an amazing (and sad) nostalgia trip for him and there were a few photos of him still stuck on the front door.
