Floriade, The Netherlands

Last weekend we made the 3 hour drive up to Venlo in The Netherlands to visit the Floriade Flower and Garden show. This event is on for a 5 month period and only takes place every 10 years. So we had high expectations. As happens with high expectations, they are generally let down. It was good, but not as good as the Keukenhof show we visited last year. Nevertheless, we had a lovely day (in 30 degree temperatures) and below is a video of our day.

Happy Birthday Mia

Mia Jago turned 2 yesterday (June 24th). She had a lovely birthday party shared with her friend Suzi. Julie made a fantastic Dorothy the Dinosaur cake, and Mia’s BIG birthday present was a brand new kitchen! You can see it in the video below.

45 today

It’s Birthday time again. I turn 45 today, but certainly don’t feel it. We had a lovely dinner tonight, prepared by Julies wonderful friend Kim, who has been an enormous help to us since William was born. Thank you Kim for, well everything!  🙂
