Today we drove to the French city of Metz. It’s a one hour drive south of Lux. The weather was cold and overcast but at least it didn’t rain on us. We enjoyed wandering around the old town and were very impressed with the amazing stained glass windows in their beautiful cathedral. Here’s a few pics from today.

Spent a couple of days in The Netherlands this week, just out of Amsterdam. It’s a 4 1/2 hour drive from home in Lux, so I’ve driven nearly 1,000 kms this week. We purchased a new Tom Tom Go Live 1005 which did a great job getting me there on time.

Julie & Mia flew back to Lux last week straight into our chilly European winter. This is a video from our short stop during the 2 1/2 hour drive home from Frankfurt.
Mia had a great time over summer in Melbourne. Here she is having a swim in her Uncle Robs pool, shadowed closely by her very friendly cousins.
On Boxing Day Gab started her new life in Bendigo. She has moved in with boyfriend Brodie (very nice young bloke) and is looking for her first full time job. Good luck Gab, we all know you will make it work in Bendigo.
