This week in… New York
Sunday I fly off to New York for a week’s work in our head office. New York forecast is for 30 degrees for the next 4 days so I am in for a warm week. I have only every been in New York in the cold, so I am looking forward to this trip being a bit more enjoyable…

Nancy, France
I took the day off today to spend some time with Garry and the girls and we drove down to Nancy in Northern France. It’s a 90 minute drive and after a short walk from our car park we discovered the beautiful town square called Place Stanislas. The square was designed as a way to link the medieval old town of Nancy and the new town built in the 17th century. Construction began in March 1752 and ended in November 1755. Here’s a 360 degree look at the square (before the heavy rain caught us out).

Mia’s 1st birthday
Friday 24th was Mia’s 1st birthday and Julie made a beautiful butterfly cake (from the very hungry caterpillar story) which Mia loves. In between my work calls, we shared a lovely lunch, skyped with Grammy, Nana & Pa, and opened some presents. Here are a couple of photos and I will add some video shortly (after editing).

A busy week with Puppa
Today (Thursday 23rd) was a public holiday for Luxembourg National Day, and although the weather was a bit miserable, we walked into town and joined in the great activities the city put on for free for kids. Here are some great pics taken by Garry this week (except the one he’s in of course).

Luxembourg Marathon
It was on again last night. Starting at 7pm and running through the streets of Luxembourg, the marathon is a huge event each year. The lead pack (of around 20 African runners) went past so quickly I couldn’t get the camera ready. But here’s highlights from the rest of the night. Mia was a little late to bed last night…
Mia Walking
Here is Mia walking on her own. What a difference a few weeks makes…

Mia tastes lemon… (over & over again).
Yesterday whilst having lunch, Mia grabbed the lemon that Julie was using with her smoked salmon and capers. Here’s a couple of minutes of her experience with it.
